A boudoir session is such a personal thing for women and I have heard many different reasons for why they chose a session. The most often heard reason is that they want to do it for their husbands, boyfriends or life partners. That is not unusual because society has ingrained in women that they are care givers and most women havie been giving of themselves for others most of their lives. 

One of the best reasons a woman can do a boudoir session is for HERSELF. Who does not like to feel good about themselves and see themselves in a positive light? The 2 or 3 hours spent having your memories created will last a lifetime and getting prepared for the shoot will be part of the overall experience. 

As your prepared for you boudoir session, get your hair done, maybe get a massage and be sure to get your nails and toe nails manicured as your hands and feet will be displayed in your images. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your shoot to make your skin look its best. 

As your shoot approaches think about the outfits you want to wear and the theme of your session. Women shooting with me often have 3 or 4 different outfits for our 2 hour session. 

The biggest thing is that YOU have fun and enjoy the experience. Feel free to leave comments about subjects you would like for me to discuss.
